Moving about the city today I was heartened to see that spring is actually beginning here in England. Usually about now we have stacks of daffodils and crocus, the snowdrops having made an excellent winter show and died back. So far in 2011 everything has been slow though. The snowdrops didn’t fare so well and the daffs and crocus are only just commencing their flowering stint.
